Negeri Sembilan use to be divided into nine smaller states and thus the name still reflects the combining of the nine states. Here they are home to the age-old Adat Perpatih custom and synonymous with the Minangkabau culture.

Johor is southern most state and gateway to Singapore island. Its close proximity to Singapore has made Johor a very busy city indeed as its economy is tied to the Island country. Johor is home to many heavy industry making it a very modern city. To get away from it all, Johor is blessed with abundant natural treasures and ideal destination for nature lovers, eco-tourists, beach enthusiasts and water sports activities.

The Southern Region is famous for attractions such as the iconic Porta de Santiago in Melaka City, the popular and simple seaside resort of Port Dickson which is just short hop away from Kuala Lumpur, beautiful offshore islands like Pulau Tioman, verdant jungle parks like Endau-Rompin, and perhaps learn a legend or two such as Gunung Ledang and of course the rich cultural heritage of Baba Nyonya in Melaka.
