Sabah is located at the northern side of Borneo and it is home to the highest mountain peak in South-East Asia, Mount Kinabalu. This is a very popular destination for many tourist as it is also one of the easier mountain hiking activity and visitors can boast in achieving the feat of climbing the highest mountain in Malaysia and South-East Asia!
If fighting gravity is not your kind of activity, you can relax in the numerous islands around Sabah, one of the famous one is the Sipadan island, internationally famous for its dive site and one of Sabah world-famous attractions!
As for Sarawak, this is the largest state in Malaysia, and holds many fascinating culture. Visit Kuching, the town of cats! The town is name after the popular feline and you could find many statues acknowledging the origin of Kuching name. And do visit the cat museum to find out more about the feline friend! If culture is more your thing, then visit the Sarawak Cultural Village in Santubong!
